According to the IIHS, the all new Honda Odyssey is the safest van on the road.

 

The 2011 Honda Odyssey has earn the highest possible safety ratings from both the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and it is the only van to ever do so. Honda has already conquered the hybrid market, with exciting additions to the auto world including Insight and the all new CR-Z Sport Hybrid. Now, he Japanese auto maker takes on all-electric. Honda Motors has announced the launch of its Electric Vehicle Demonstration Program.

The plug-in hybrid is "intended to be compatible with ones daily driving habits," according to the company. "The user will get the advantage of taking short, frequent trips in its all-electric mode, while also utilizing the long-distance driving capabilities when needed."

Inside Line is reporting that Honda may take their CR-Z hybrid towards a different direction. You see,  Honda may "offer a turbocharged engine option in late 2011 in its CR-Z hybrid coupe.
