Honda Civic Si Receives Larger Engine

The all new Honda Civic is back with its two-door Civic Si sports variant.

Unveiled at the 2011 New York International Auto Show, this high-performance Si borrows a muscle-car trick to boost its performance. Si implements a 2.4-liter four cylinder engine, which one could call a "2.4 a big block" as the hot rodders would say.

It's similar to what General Motors did over 45 years ago when it placed a full-sized car engine into its mid-size Pontiac Tempest. This began the GTO and 1960's muscle-car movement.

Honda Official 2011 Civic Facelift

Honda has teased their 2011 and 2012 Civic facelift for months. Auto spies have attempted to catch the sedan uncovered on the test course - and artists have rendered the car to guess what it will look like. But now the new front end has been officially unveiled - or at least that's what Honda wants us to believe.

The new Civic images shows off only minor grille changes to go along with a completely new alloy wheel design. Exterior enhancements for the 2011 Honda Civic grille are influenced by the recently discontinued high performance Type R.

Those new alloy wheels…

Honda Jazz/Fit at Paris Motor Show

The all new Honda Jazz, better known as the Fit in America, has been unveiled in Paris, and it's coming with a hybrid version as well.
