Honda CR-Z Variations at SEMA

Honda came to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas ready to rumble with 12 all new CR-Z cars. Here is a highlight of some of the most popular variations:

  • The CR-Z MUGEN features an aggressive body kit, a revised grille, a rear wing, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Inside, the cabin boasts an aluminum shift knob and a unique serial-number plaque. Production will be limited to 300 units and sales are scheduled to begin next spring.
  • To amp up the CR-Z Racer, Honda engineers upgraded the IMA hybrid system and equipped the 1.5-liter petrol engine with a turbocharger. Thanks to these tweaks, output climbs to an estimated 200 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque.
  • The Bisimoto Engineering CR-Z also boasts a turbocharger as well as a six-point roll cage, a coil-over suspension, and 18-inch wheels with Falken tires.
  • Eibach Springs decided to equip their CR-Z with a K&N intake and a Magna flow exhaust. Other goodies include a C-West body kit, 17-inch Work Emotion wheels, and Sparco seats.
