At the 2010 Thailand International Motor Expo on November 30th Honda is going to introduce a production-ready version of its "New Small Vehicle Concept." This event is a press only event before the show actually starts.
The new compact hatchback from Honda will only launch in Thailand and Indian markets in 2011, and should sell for about 500,000 (Indian) rupees - a little over $10,000.
Honda has yet to announced what will be under the hood of this New Small Vehicle Concept, nor what it's name will be once the tiny vehicle goes to production, which should be soon. According to some reports, speculation is that there will be a series of small power plants with a 1.2 liter petrol/gasoline engine being the largest on offer. No news yet on whether Honda's Small Vehicle Concept will be available in other markets.
For now, we will have to wait until the new concept is unveiled at the 27th Thailand International Motor Expo from December 1st to the 12th.
Stay tuned for the latest from Honda at Barber Honda - 4500 Wible Rd. Bakersfield, CA 93313.
